How the public opinion poll works:

Simplified POPZ process:
1. Respondents sign up.
2. Detail verification of potential respondents.
3. Enrollment in survey system – the sampling frame.
4. Enrollment in compensation system.
5. Preparation of survey & sampling from the sampling frame – peer reviewed.
6. Respondents answer a 4-minute survey via chosen survey mode: text, WhatsApp, web, call, WPOP App or Email.
7. Respondents receive remuneration.
8. Responses are compiled & published – peer reviewed.

The Public Opinion Polling Zambia in Brief

Premised on the indispensability of unbiased real-time compilations and publication of public opinions to society and development, POPZ conducts scientific and peer reviewed surveys on Zambians on real-time and contemporary topics. As shown in the methodology, POPZ prides itself on scientific rigor, peer review and elimination of biases in the surveying, compilation and publication of Zambian public opinions. On the respondent side, POPZ, attempts to create a seamless, hassle-free and time efficient experience – leaving survey channel selection at the respondent’s discretion, caping survey time to 4 minutes, multiple-choicing all survey questions, and providing a small remuneration after each survey. POPZ is financed by advertising on the survey publication channels. To eliminate potential biases and promote independence, POPZ, does not accept earmarked donations and maintains separation between its core operations and its financing.
